Stoke last game is the one for me, glad we’re at home, not glad it’s against Stoke. Bet it’s a ‘must win’ match, nervous already!

I fancy Stoke to do well this season. I'll be on them each way at 16/1.

Tough start but our record against the top sides last season wasn't too bad.
Drew at Norwich.
Beat Sheffield United at home.
Drew at Leeds and beat them at home.
Drew home and away against West Brom.
Drew at Villa.
Drew at Derby and beat them at home.
Did the double over Boro.

Which is 21 points out of a possible 42. Or 1.5 points a match.

Everybody will play everyone twice, once home and once away no matter how you look at it. I really don't mind who we start against and who we finish against.

Just my opinion but I believe that the middle part of the season is the most important, from middle of November to the middle of February. It's when you normally sort out the serious contenders from the pretenders.

Coincidentally our record in this period has been very poor in the last few years...
