Forest have more steel, more technique, varied attacks, more progressive going forward off a more compact base, better game management, suffocate the life out of teams, clean sheets. Our goal difference is now a lot better than all the teams below us.
Like Hodge says. We just need to sort out front line out in the Summer. But for now, January's transfer business has brought Forest greater reach in games to claw the results needed for safety.
SA.
I'd like a 28 year old version of a Murray/Murphy/Adebola type player.
Would definitely fit the Hughton style.
They are very rare and expensive though.

Tbf our 37 year old version of Murray is better than Murphy or Adebola ever were at any age.

A quality striker. Ideal for the Championship.
It was a shrewd interim signing. He might get another year in the Summer. Depends on how things go. He's clearly a fit 37 year old.
Isn't Coppenger 40 for Doncaster? Scored a belter for them.
I like how Murray's presence alone unsettles back lines. Bournemouth, Swansea, Blackburn. He could have had another 3 goals. Been a bit unlucky with the goal line clearances.

However to a man I was pleased with the intent but we are improving slowly. Getting better on the ball, more fluid and move it quicker. Really good to see.
A big 3 games coming up, win them all and you can really build for next year.
Forest are definitely fitter now. That's down to Hughton. They are also more competitive no matter who they play.
And they're knitting defensive resolve with an incisive and intricate attack style enabled by the Jan' signings.
The next 3 games are key. A win v Rotherham to take Forest onto 39 points would be a season key stone.
I'd like to see Hughton with a Summer transfer window to grab the squad by the scruff of the neck and given a shake.

Yeah. 'Juke.' He's another that's getting on a bit.
We've got Murray without a large transfer fee. Already scored a couple of goals. Several cleared off the line. ie. Who is already wreaking havoc in opposition defences.
Definitely what we've been missing.

I've never seen it done like that before.
I was wondering why the ref' was losing patience with him.
Chris has brought a bit of 'street smarts' to the Forest side. Not really seen since Davies was in full flight.
