Negatives:
Despite them being off it (certainly no Norwich)⁰ they opened us up a bit too much.
Crap ref, but risky wrestling at a corner.
Most danger in attacking and defensive 3rd came from Bong.
Contrary to what I thought before, Garner might be ready for Prem already, scouts might too.
Need more cutting edge.
Got HT score wrong.

Re Garner

Man Utd will want him playing week in week out - that wouldn’t happen with a Prem loan.

Man Utd confirmed that Hughton was a huge reason why the wanted him to come to Forest.

I think we have a good chance of getting him back next season.

Do think we still need 9-10 points to ensure safety - Rotherham have a lot of games to play but there are a few winnable ones there and are playing more games late on when other sides will have nothing to play for - it will either knacker them or allow them to get some momentum. 

We could do with going on a bit of an unbeaten run - after Cardiff we are done with top sides so plenty of games that, on paper, are winnable.

The Norwich game was demoralising but other than that, we've been competitive in all the other matches in this difficult run.

Personally of all the games in the last 10, the only result I would say I feel really hurt us was that defeat to Luton.

Yeah.  We battered them 1st half.  Didn't make it count with goals, though.  Same with Derby.  Same with Swansea.  A good few 'nearly' results.

Yeah particularly with the restrictions of covid, it just seems sensible to him somewhere he's already settled and can be sure of starting every game.

Fingers crossed, would be really.good if we could maintain some continuity next season

If we can get a confidence boosting result (we have just beaten Brentford on possession in their own backyard!) vs a top 6 side away from home then we can carry that 'form' and 'confidence' into April's games.

If we get a draw vs Cardiff.  And try to pick up a couple of wins against the mid-table sides.  That should put us 'just about' safe.
