0.86 goals per game.

But what about excitement per game? Memories per game?

How does that compare with other managers out of interest?

Yeah no-one is trying to claim its exciting but I maintain that winning is the most exciting thing so if we ever start doing that it'll be worth the negative football

Different managers, different circumstances.

Dougie Freedman's sides were sent out to not lose as we had no strikers of note and were operating under an umbongo. Yet I thought his achievements were excellent, considering the circumstances.

IMO Hughton's had a Dougie type season. He's had to dig in, make us tight, stop and reverse a decline. Not pretty but in the future looking back we'll hopefully be able to appreciate it for what it is.

I think that is a good comparison.  Dougie did a good job in difficult circumstances.

Similarly, Hughton has had to steady the ship.

These are necessary courses of action when recruitment has failed.

SA.
