Soudani back on....

''Dinamo has rejected the first offer of Nottingham Forest for Soudani. The English club is seriously stuck for Dinamo's Algerian, and the best goalscorer of HNL dreams of going to the Island, so it is certain that he will finish there. Because, the English will not stop at this and it is almost certain that a new, bold offer will arrive at the maximum address.
''Namely, as we hear it is not even a problem or amount (allegedly it is about $ 2 million), but some details such as bonuses or payment dynamics. Basically, not something that the English club could not correct and in Maksimir send a bid that will satisfy Modre. After all, there is still time, the transition period is practically just starting, the season is over, and Soudani is currently with the Algerian team.''

The impression is that Dinamo and Nottingham Forest are on the right path to the deal, as soon as they negotiate, as soon as they bid, it is a sign that both sides want a definitive solution. Of course, we will use it as long as there is no formal agreement, everything is possible, any reversals, however, it seems that Soudani could soon realize a dream. Dinamo would be the happiest if they were still helping them in European qualifiers, leaving only Maksimir in August, and no options are excluded.
Now expected we will make an agreement over the next day or so and the sticking point is on bonuses etc.''

Good news?

Starting to look like he's ours.
Hopefully he'll be arriving next week after this weekend's internationals are out the way.

Don’t know about Marriott - but surely Soudani is not the only one we’re looking to bring in?
Soudani + main striker was my understanding?

Yes that is my understanding.

Soudani isn’t being signed as a centre forward.

He is being signed as a wide forward in a 4-3-3

Exactly, Lolly left, Soudani right and the main striker in the middle.

That's a problem we may have to get passed with some clubs now, after that ridiculous statement.

"I've heard they've got £55m, let's hold out for more"

Happened to the sheep a couple of seasons ago. They were paying well over the odds for rated players. They thought they were making a statement by arrogantly buying big but what actually happened was that clubs and agents were having their pants down for players who's reputation was higher than their talent deserved.
