I think its a bad sign.
As far as I am aware, all planning applications should be available for public viewing at all times. The removal could suggest the developers have pulled the plans, whether it is to revamp/revise them or because they are no longer going ahead remains to be seen
This is where a bit of communication from the club would be really useful. It's probably not widely known that the application can't be viewed online anymore yet, but when it is, fans will rightly have questions and will speculate.
A short press release explaining why would stop all that immediately.
