DM: My pleasure it's nice to be here. So why should I leave my current position of CEO at Barnsley and come and work for Nottingham Forest?
EM: Because we need a new CEO but all our football operations decisions will be made by Ioannis Vrentzos who is moving to Athens.
DM: Oh okay I see. Good bye then and thanks for your time.
Hence why I mentioned goalposts being moved. Will Murphy be happy reporting into Vrentzos ?
Will that be moving the goalposts?
Exactly. Unless members of this forum somehow have access to the discussions at board level in the club then we have no way of knowing if any goalposts have been moved, or of Vrentzos's intentions/future role, or what this new guy's role will be. My GUESS is that as Vrentzos is staying within the employ of EM, then there's some kind of transition being worked out. The last thing we need at this period of time is a new guy walking in with a blank piece of paper.
