Mr Marinakis got the appointment of Hughton wrong. I for am am hoping he does not take too much longer to rectify it.

I think we have a lot of good things going on at the club right now, it's just not translated to the first team pitch yet. A modern thinking manager to get a bit more out of the young exciting talent could yet be the biggest appointment yet and could actually see us make some progress this year.

I was hoping for a progressive offensive manager, i named them at the time, I think I have discussed that to death over the last 18 months to be fair, yes including whilst sabri was with us. We have been suffocated with utter boredom of defensive and pragmatic managers for some time. 

I have been blasted a few times on this very forum for wanting to be entertained at a football game. Who would of thought it hey?

I dont think you've been blasted for that tbh, more just that people are sick of sacking managers repeatedly. I've always said though if that's the pure reason for a change that's fair enough, I wanted Calvalhal. 

Keeping it on EM though as its the EM thread not the next manager thread  :D 

He has very much gone down the route of appointing managers with boring styles that get good results. It'll be interesting next time they do make a change whether Murphy's influence will lead to something more interesting

Fair assessment mate, I was told on this forum football is not an entertainment business. 

It was kind of about EM as ultimately I was saying his next decision could prove his biggest yet. 

But yes I'd want him to go down the line of a modern approach of attacking with intent so we do see some good football back down the city ground soon.
