Be it Hughton or not can we just get rid of this obsession with 2 holding midfield players it stifles any form of attacking play and isolates the 3 behind the striker and IMO enhances the workload and exposes the fitness of the players
Unless you have world-class ballplayers or absolute monsters with energy to burn its a killer again it's only an opinion but that's one of the main reasons we have been conceding late goals for the last god knows how long and impacts the mindset of the players to not get caught of position so the longer the game goes the more inclined they are to play deep
Play to the strengths of the squad and ours is the likes of Zinc Mighten Johnson Lolley and Carv if the holding midfield player and 4 defenders are not enough then f**K them off.
PS give the kid at right-back a good run at it looks like a player to me
PPS When was it made against the law to play two strikers we have 2 who have the pedigree at this level do they ever start together have they even been given the chance to forge a partnership
