Tbh mate, I'd sooner Hughton stick around until the Derby game at least.
He deserves a chance with Garner here, and if Derby beat us there won't be any doubt that he has to go.
Plus it gives any potential new manager a bit of breathing room, rather than throwing them head first into a Derby game.
To me, if Hughton had brought in, say, 14 of his own players and lost the four games and all those in pre-season? I'd be concerned. But I'd still give him until after the International Break to start making progress.
But he has yet to make a permanent outfield signing last Summer or this Summer. Has any other Forest manager been that badly backed?
What's the new CEO doing about that? (And if it IS going to be a relegation season because Forest have a rookie CEO, the person you DO want is Hughton. He'd be a safe pair of hands whilst Dane...pulls his finger out.)
