Tbh mate, I'd sooner Hughton stick around until the Derby game at least.
He deserves a chance with Garner here, and if Derby beat us there won't be any doubt that he has to go.
Plus it gives any potential new manager a bit of breathing room, rather than throwing them head first into a Derby game.
To me, if Hughton had brought in, say, 14 of his own players and lost the four games and all those in pre-season? I'd be concerned. But I'd still give him until after the International Break to start making progress.
But he has yet to make a permanent outfield signing last Summer or this Summer. Has any other Forest manager been that badly backed?
What's the new CEO doing about that? (And if it IS going to be a relegation season because Forest have a rookie CEO, the person you DO want is Hughton. He'd be a safe pair of hands whilst Dane...pulls his finger out.)

Chris hughtons record last season suggests he is not a safe pair of hands. He had his knockaert and Murray too, players he wanted. We were awful.
Hughton didn't have any permanent outfield signings.
We were left scrabbling around in January. The ones we did bring in DID make enough (Garner and Krov' linking the back to the front of the team) of an impact to keep Forest up. Even Murray got a brace that gave Forest 3 points. Keeping in mind we only avoided relegation by 8 points?
Had Forest brought in a striker last year with fresh legs, things might have been very different. Still waiting on that striker though.
Attritional football is what you get when you don't recruit well. The team basically becomes a punching bag.
Until we get the promised recruitment (Dane said 9 players himself?) then it doesn't matter what Hughton tries. He's damned.
At least we have the progressive Garner. And we should see a very different type of Forest against Wolves with Fornah probably playing alongside him. *Fingers crossed, eh?

Dane better start using his own money. Hughton got the striker he wanted. Glenn Murray. The football is dire mate but if it is what you enjoy who am I to argue. But stop banging the outfield drum. You have said it on every post for about a week and it really is getting tedious.
