If you want to look at lessons from the past it was the above bit that killed us that season. Just had a check, I am sad like that, we let in 62 goals 5 teams were worse including Norwich who finished 3rd.
But Bannister and Big Bad Bob managed 41 goals, that was never enough.
I get your point about the overall balance of the team but until we have a decent striker with some pace and movement we are going to struggle IMO.

That is absolutely right.  It put Forest where they are now.  You can follow the line back to that.

When was the last time Forest bought a striker?
