I'm of the opinion now where we don't need an influx of new players at this present time, we need to let Cooper squeeze what he can out of this squad. And so on that basis, let's keep Brennan for a couple of years and see how he develops. For that to happen he needs to sign a contract.
If he left now for say a Brentford or a Southampton in the prem, is that going to be better for him long term that sticking with us? I doubt it. He'd get some cash in his pocket but his development would be restricted and/or he'd just get farmed out to a championship club anyway.
