Not sure what you think the answer is. Fences are a non starter. The only way is to employ literally hundreds of security, riot police style and have them shoulder to shoulder surrounding the pitch. Apparently we had over 300 for the SheffUtd match last year and that wasn’t enough. Dont think it would help generate a feel good atmosphere or a family event.
That's the thing, there are no easy answers.
As I've said before, the club could identify everyone doing it and revoke their season tickets or ban them from attending, but that's not really practical.
I can see some clown at some club seriously injuring someone in the future - whether that's an opposing player, fan or an official. And I really wouldn't want that clown to be a Forest fan.
