I actually want to see us healthy morethan anything else.
Personally I really liked the balance we had here under SOD, Warburton & Billy. Fairly modest wage & transfer spends (in Warbs case profit), some good attacking football being played, a significant amount of home wins, and us way higher in the league then we were when the manager took over.
That to me is the real recipe for success. Tick that over for a few years until we're regular top 6 challengers with sai fairly modest squad, THEN invest.
So far these owners have come in on the back of a 13m Burke sale, made 15m of Britt & wangled 7m off BB. Lolley will be worth a pretty penny too, but I worry for the day when they hit a season with no expensive players to sell.
Backing AK with so much was premature to say the least. Now we've spent 25m on a squad who could quite easily flop for the next bloke if they don't like him or suit his style of play.
Let's just get a good, steady setup together which can tick over competitively & healthily should the worst happen. Then if it's successful go for the push.
