Seriously - considering the fact that AK dropped us in it by walking - I don't think we could be landing better currently. Personally I'd sooner have MON than Jokanivic
I hope so but would have serious concerns. I know MON is an excellent man motivator but the main gripe with Irish and Sunderland fans was that he doesn't really do tactics or analyse the opposition.
Matt Doherty stated in an interview that they were basically sent out with no formation or instructions whatsoever and had to make it up themselves. The likes of Warnock and Wilder may play a direct style of football but they are also tactically very good. We will have to wait and see.
