I would imagine that the thinking behind Dyche is that he would hopefully come in and hit the ground running (if he comes in).
I believe he lives in those apartments next to the ground and he probably goes to most of our home games.
So he knows the team/squad and obviously he knows the club and the city etc.
He also did a very good job at Burnley to be fair to him and he fought the flames at Everton.
I can see the thinking and the sense behind it.
