I listened to MoN’s interview on local radio today in which he said every player would get a chance to show what he can do. In which case why is Liam Bridcutt ( & to a lesser extent Yacob ) being frozen out?

Why in today’s game:

With a surfeit of centre backs at his disposal did he decide to name just one in the starting X1?
Why move your best left back to centre back?
Why play your outstanding midfielder at left back?
Why move the league’s best winger in the centre?

I could go on.
He is doing himself no favours - and the performance ( yet again ) was unacceptable!
