Can I just ask how do we know it was ‘player power’ responsible for the sacking. I’ve seen so many names supposedly responsible, if these players aren’t at fault, and I have seen nothing to prove that they are, just rumour and conjecture then surely it is not good for these players to be abused on social media, I mean there not exactly going to want to pull up trees are they?
It looks to me as if the hierarchy decided a while ago to start looking for a new manager, they were slated for the long drawn out debacle with A K so acted swiftly and decisively before any money was spent on transfers the new manager might not want.
If the players had hounded out the manager I agree it leaves a sour taste in the mouth. It’s a sad fact of football these days that players do have some degree of influence. But if these rumours aren’t true and until there proven I think the slagging off has to stop.
It’s doing the club, the one we support no good whatsoever.
