As such, if you have an option who is better e.g. Milo. And you need a unit at the back who was clearly on form last season then why not use him. I'd have thought Milo (a Swedish player..?) would be far more suited alongside Dawson than Fig or Chem'. Two games that would have suited him. He's a very robust player. But I guess the late for the team bus did for him?
As for Ben in Italy. Rehab in a warm climate to get over his back injury? A game that could have used him last night or v Wigan.
As for Bostock. I'd have Yates ahead of him in terms of performances. On paper, you'd think Bost' would be a shoe in.
I thin this is where the old Reserve league is perhaps missed for players like Bost' to get competitive football to get over confidence, injuries etc in a competitive situation.
Pants in Spain. As a top 6 keeper in the Championship, he'd surely be a reserve keeper. But chances are he's on good money and he's being squeezed out because he's on a big wage earner or maybe he threw a strop at no longer bring no.1. Sure, he's flawed, but he was better with Big Ben and Milo in front of him.
It appears Forest don't have adequate cover at CH, CM or the Striker positions. These three positions seem to haunt Forest for the best part of the last 20 years.
The recruitment staff are going to have to really step it up in January if Forest are going to maintain top 6 let alone push for the autos.
Two winnable games and Forest couldn't do it. Why? Because Dawson and Sow are out injured. With them in the side. We get at least two more draws and keep momentum.
