Still a bit vague on times though. Expecting to submit planning application before the end of the year, and hoping that work could commence in the first half of 2020.
Not convinced it will start next season if I'm honest.
This will form part of the public consultation process required prior to submitting the development plans with the planning authority. The plans will then go before the Rushcliffe District Council Planning Committee for approval.
In my fairly limited experience (3 major builds of work places totalling around £36 million) the architectural bit is always a bit flowery and once planning permission is granted, tendering is sorted (if not already done so as design and build) and the ground works start really quickly. On one of the 3 occasions is was literally the next day (was Wilmot Dixon). I fully expect the planning permission to be refused 1st time, with some extra conditions required to get it through in terms of local infra-structure.
That said, this is a project nearly double the size of All the 3 combined that I have a limited bit of knowledge from.
Still quite early days though if aiming for May 2020 start.
