He was seething. Didn't he actually call the players stupid or did I mishear that?
I heard it. He did call the players stupid.
Be interesting to see what sort of reaction we get from them on Saturday.
I think Sabri probably wanted to use the word naive but he couldn't dig it out so he ended up using the word stupid instead. It was probably a language barrier problem.
His interview summed up the feelings of many a fan. Sheer frustration to 'toss it away' against a side bereft of confidence. Confidence growing following a fine win and a good run, ...just a penalty and a chance to 'bury' Birmingham nonchalantly thrown away. But Forest miss the penalty and implode.
The Coach been very patient and measured for the most part. But given the casual ineptitude of the Birmingham game following the 'performance of the season' vs Brentford, you can understand the anger, the agony of being so close to the autos. To go from mature contenders to naive incompetence. 'Kick the cat' football madness. Another 'real chance' blow...again.
So close. Yet so far.
The game vs Leeds will tell us more.
Without Sow, we're not winning that game.
SA.
