the amount of wasted passes and hoofs out last night surprised me - there were times when we looked like we had never played together. Listening to the radio on the way back they made a good point that the players would only have had one training session together before the game to prepare for the new lineup.
Obviously three changes were enforced (and hopefully all three will be back for Saturday) but that being the case Sabri should never have changed the full backs as well.
As well as Lolley played, I thought he was at fault for the goal - waiting for the ball to reach him before the centre back nipped in. Their centre back bossed their defence and we could not find a way passed him (he was massive !).
We looked more attacking when Cash came on but the final ball nearly every time was terrible.
Such a wasted opportunity...
