Of course there's no precedent but I recall from my refereeing days that if a match was abandoned that is not postponed but actually stopped then the score stood but only if the time at the abandonment was 70 minutes or more. I had to do this twice, once for a mass brawl and once for serious threats of violence. Anyhow I suppose that you could argue that the FA does accept the score (or maybe league positions?) if the game (season) can't be completed. So the league positions could stand as long as 70/90th of the games had been played. I make that around 35 games. All the Championship teams have played 37 games. Sorry if that's obscure.
