What we don’t know right now is if Sabri has better players and a more rounded squad would he set us up any differently?
I have taken issue with his team selection in recent weeks, playing Sow, Watson and Yates together was a negative approach and had us on the back foot from the off.
Sabri had more attacking options in the squad and available, that would have at least had a more positive approach to each game (whilst none of them are perfect) in the likes of Silva, Carvalho, Johnson and Bostock so it’s not true that he was going with the best of what he had, he intentionally went into games not to lose.
This for me is a big factor next year, he needs to learn from his mistakes.
