Lack of resale value is of concern, especially as we seem to need to sell a player every summer.

I guess they are hoping the academy continues to produce.

Selling academy players is a better strategy because the sale amount is all profit in the accounts.

I know but that wasn't my point. What if the academy goes a few years without producing a player worth millions?
