They have employed and backed Aitor for a no messing about season it seems. You don't overhaul 23 players in two windows (and two more to come in?) if you're 'messing about.'
The Die is Cast. The 'Greek Overlord' is setting a clear mandate through the investment given. The implication is promotion.

Most of the signings in the Championship are average.
Forest have started, in the last 8 months, from such a low base, that it's relative to.
Forest haven't started with a deep bench squad like Boro' and spent 25 million on eg. Flint and Gayle or other heavy hitters.
When you're replacing an entire squad of 23 players over jan' and Summer...then there's a pragmatic sense of building.
Premier players. Sure. But they won't be in Arsenal's 1st team. eg. Heff'. A player who wasn't good enough for them but got them promoted. Unfit because of injury and not playing. Same as Byram. Between two divisions type players. Grabban another who couldn't make it in the Premier. Cheap at £6million?
Forest's squad building has been excellent overall. This window has been like no other.
But you're going to get eg. Watson who was fine for bailing Forest out of trouble last season. But this? His legs have 'gone?' So, then you have to sell Ben' Bre' and get eg. Saiss and another striker to replace what you don't have.
Last season, Forest had a lot of young players and the experienced one eg Murphy was getting on a bit. Ironic that he's our top scoring striker this. Despite being hammered in fan's critics of him.
Pants. A lamppost of a keeper who has good qualities. But I'm not sure being overly athletic is one of them.
These players haven't been together all season. 5 games is nothing to assess that. Throwing lots of new players together isn't instant alchemy.
If people could spend 25 million and get instant promotion then Derby and Boro' would be promoted as they have spent big. It didn't work for them? Villa?
Forest have started from an even lower base than them and unlike WBA, Villa and Boro' they haven't been in the Premier relatively recently.
