We need some football to talk about.
Every thread is turning into a debate about communication and our owners.
I am f*****g fed up. See yer later.
I realise your perspective is different as you've seen at closer quarters the impact that Marinakis has had on Olympiacos, but to those of us who don't have that insight it does seem that things have changed over the last few months.
The open letter we saw when EM took over said all the right things, we were treated to articles about things behind the scenes to a degree and obviously the news about the new stand, but since the end of the season the tone of things just seems different. We've heard barely anything from most of the new signings, heard nothing about the stadium and didn't even get an acknowledgement of Ben Watson leaving. Plus the Tweet about Sabri getting the boot was frankly disrespectful.
These things might not seem important to EM and Vrentzos but I think they do matter to some fans, especially at this time when nobody can go to watch matches. Of course it's a results business first and foremost and I doubt many people question the decision of sacking Sabri, but, and again this is just my opinion, its important to some fans to support a club that isn't just successful but also respected for how they conduct their business.
Fans want to feel that the club they support has a vision and a plan and a roadmap of how to deliver it. It's not clear at the moment if Forest do. Of course the vision will be to get Forest promoted to the PL and stay there but there doesn't seem to be much consistency in the approach to doing making it happen.
Anyway that's my take SD.
