I think it's good for all parties tbh. In fact I think had folk given the new regime a bit more of a slap early doors as to how the Championship operates, then we wouldn't have spent so many years chasing our tails & making the wrong decisions.
But as Sniff says, it's a balance. Plenty of good decisions have been made too. Big V is meant to be a financial genius, and it's easy to forget big sales like Brereton.
Hopefully this will all simply wake the top brass up into realising that to get the best from experienced, proven managers like Hughton you need to back them & empower them. Not bog them down with OTT restrictions, or a ton of players who have been selected by people who have virtually no idea about the Championship, or what it takes to get promoted out of it.
