Hard to argue with his record and plays nice football...

He had an interview for the Bristol City job so looks like he will be at Ashton Gate next year.

Thought that was Hughton’s?

Cut our losses with Lamouchi now, and either one of Cook or Hughton..... win win.

Certainly intriguing that Bristol City have yet to confirm Hughton & Cook has left Wigan.
Potentially both being lined up for jobs somewhere.

Of the two I much prefer Hughton.
Cook would be seen by fans to be the ‘cheap option’.
For me - I don’t see it being either.
Sabri surely retained the job - we’d have known by now if he was being sacked.

Dont change the manager now.......start the season well.........Owner will be a hero.

Dont change the manager now.......start the season bad........sack the manager.........everyone happy.

Sabri will be in charge at the start of the season, he will be told top 2 is the only place we can be after 10 games.  Or your gone.

I think any kind of a poor start and he's in trouble. If, after 5 or 6 games, the performances have been poor and we're mid table, he'll be gone. You just cant wipe the slate clean and ignore our poor record since we beat Leeds in February. To use Sabri's own words, the start of next season is his money time.

For me this is the worse outcome.
We either have faith that Sabri can get us promoted next season or not.

If not then he needs to go ASAP to give next manager maximum opportunity.
If he stays, he should be backed in transfer window and stuck with until he gets promotion.

Sabri missed money time. We basically did the opposite.

He would be the head chef but there will probably still be too many cooks in the kitchen unfortunately.
