I don't think any one said they'd be 'happy' with a draw.  

My bottom lip is still out after the Boro' win. Somewhat.

The intent should always be victory. Having the toolkit to achieve it is another matter.

Forest fans always want the win. I was sceptical that Forest had to the toolkit to beat Boro' without fullbacks.

I'd rather we'd have taken a point from Boro' rather than the abject defeat. A draw away from home is always 'decent.'

Cooper will be aiming for 3.  Looking for a response, no doubt. Huddersfield will be less accomplished than a Wilder Boro' which has a genuine play off squad.

The last time Forest beat Huddersfield, they had fullbacks/wingbacks.

Well, yes.  Had Forest, despite the poorest performance under Cooper, taken their chances they could have beaten Boro'.

Boro' only beat Bournemouth because they didn't take their chances either.  I'm somewhat peeved that Forest gifted Boro' the win.  However, Boro' forced the error. 

Wilder has them hustling with intensity.

Forest didn't match it (or couldn't?) because their squad doesn't seem to have the depth that Boro's has.

Regardless of the cupboard being bare in certain positions, Forest need to up their intensity vs Huddersfield.

Cooper knows what he's doing.  But I'd rather he give OJ a chance than Car' vs Huddersfield.

It will be difficult for Forest without the fullbacks.  All games in the Championship are difficult.  The Gyspy curse has struck the Forest's squad targeting that traditional Forest voodoo weak spot (LB...) making it even harder.

Hughton's Forest got pummelled with 7(?) defeats without them.

With them, Cooper's Forest have shown that attacking intent goes alot further with fullbacks (and the performance vs Boro threw the clock back to the start of the season when we were 7 games in without fullbacks.)

Cooper did make the point that even with Spence, that performance wouldn't have got a result.  He's right.  All the lads need to be on it, not half asleep.

Even as bad as they were, Boro still needed an OG for the win.  I don't think they're 'great' but they're good enough for a top 6 place and building momentum.

Had Forest had Boro's fullbacks?  (Which would have meant Colback would have been able to play in CM...). I think we'd have beaten them.

They are Pap, they started the season really well, but they have only won 1 out of the last 8 away and that was at Bristol City, there home form has kept them in the mix, I just fancy us at home against them. I'll be surprised if we do not win this one.

Am I the only one that sees a stat like that and then applies the theory of probability to it to determine, in this instance, that Hudders are due an away win?

I think there was a bit of an overreaction to the Boro defeat by lots of fans and lots of journalists. We lost with a makeshift defence, had two players come off with injury and had to play players that are probably leaving in Jan. 

I think it’s understandable that we struggled. We all know that the squad needs some improvement and hopefully Dane Murphy can sort it out.

Completely agree, we were always going to struggle with no full backs, just like we did at the start of the season and they're even more important a position when they are wing backs. For me the priority this window is to bulk up the squad rather than big improvements. Add depth to the wing back/full back positions and improve up front.

Spence is back and we played ok with Colback at LWB tbf. If I'm honest I've been pretty surprised we've managed to maintain our good form without Lowe, I think the team deserves a lot of credit for covering for that loss.
