Sheffield United - Nottingham Forest 1st Leg

If Davis is fit he goes straight in for me. Hope he has a chance of making it.

I know many may disagree but attack is the best form of defence on Saturday. We ran them ragged in the league game for 60 minutes and can’t afford to sit back and let them build up a head of steam.

Got my ticket booked, early train into Sheffield. Roll on Saturday.

Can't even think about Saturday at the moment. I hate the play offs when we are in them.

We owe them big time, I remember when we played them in the play offs, we came so close and caved in, this time it's our turn, the boys need to get this one over the line.

As time goes on I’m getting more confident after a slightly deflating game against Bournemouth. We’ve done well in the Cup against Premier League sides and we’ve blown away Championship sides. If we’re on our game then I don’t think there’s a team in the division that can stop us. It’s just a case of sticking to the game plan and not getting caught up in the disruption tactics.

3100 ish. Think we might be in the upper tier though as Lower holds about 2300?

I think the point about the cup run is important. The experience we've had this year should be vital for the playoffs. Should allow us to play with freedom and we've proven in the league we're capable of coming back if we do have setbacks. I think we go in as clear favourites but that doesn't always matter in the playoffs.

It does count for something for sure. But.....pressure wasn't really on for the FA cup - very unlikely to win the whole competition!! The playoffs, however....

I think we will do well. Agree with other folk that Davies would be a very welcome addition on the weekend!

I agree. They were pleasant distractions. Big games - yes. But pressure games - no.

That said that run from March to May were pressure games - the away win at Fulham - huge. The second half at Swansea was pressure considering Bournemouth were ahead and we had missed big chances first half.

It will come down to belief. We know they are good enough. Do they believe they are?

Glad we have already upset them with their ticket allocation, just 2,000.

Just booked my ticket for the home leg and now I'm way more nervous. I need to go back to not thinking about it, I hate the playoffs.

I drove back from the Euros final from London to Essex and basically just sat in silence trying not to think about it. I hope the drive back next Tuesday is full of Mull of Kintyre and Just Can't Get Enough on repeat!
