Lewis Grabban

I agree with Hykeham (Fellow Lincoln lad) Grabban has always been the preferred option for me out of what's available we need someone with strength who can score but bring our whizz kids just behind into play too.

The price for Bamford is ridiculous and his scoring record was poor until his good run last season.

I really can’t see Waghorn spearheading a promotion chasing team.

Grabban is the one for me.

No doubt now that Grabban is our number one target.

The good thing is, Bournemouth will allow him to leave, I can't imagine the fee will be a stumbling block either.

So it comes down to wages. Hopefully we can reach an agreement.

Percy has just said Grabban been in talks last 4 or 5 days and Forest have a good chance of landing him.

Just beat me to it BD.

Landing him would be a tremendous signing. That'd really just leave an RB, perhaps another LB and a DCM and we'd be done.

With a month left in the transfer window too!

4-5 days of talks.  :o

Hope Forest can land him.

Soudani and Grabban would be a killer combo'...

It was in reply to someone else's question so it's not automatically on his feed. But it's definitely there.

Grabbon. It's probably a priority signing now for the team behind the scene at Forest. They've pulled off some great signings and work so far. It's unprecedented, smashing a transfer record, but not only doubling it but trebling it? That's crazy. All the more important to give the Portuguese contingent a genuine couple of strikers to feed. Put Soudani (he may be part of the three behind eg. Grabban) and Grabban in front of the plot you're getting goals.

This is one of the pivotal signings. Grabban made an impact in a relegation side and scored 8(?) goals in 10 for Villa?

I'm confident (reasonably...) that Forest will get Pants or 'A' good keeper. But strikers. They can make or break seasons (as we saw last time around, Forest found it really difficult to put the ball in the back of net even with a decent midfield behind a rookie striker.)

*fingers crossed on this one.
