Turning The Corner?

I refuse to get carried away with a 0-0 draw against a poor and depleted Swansea team.

I will start to feel it though if we win these two home games against Wednesday and Rotherham and then we follow that up with a good battling point up at Blackburn.

Agree completely with Duncan... the corner will be turned when we go on a run of 7 straight wins and a couple of draws....and not after drawing against a bunch of welsh kids..

Like last year when we won v Wolves ....and we didnt win again for half a dozen games... :D

It's a huge match tonight.

This thread is about turning a corner.

I reckon it's more of a crossroads.

will grabban hold up for 90 min with a niggle like an Achilles injury? our other option is goncalves who hasn't played in a while.

that is of course if karanka is telling the truth about murphy.

As long as we're turning the corner tonight and not parking the bus (sorry). We need to win and to do that we have to score goals, Grabban needs to start hitting the back of the net. What is it with strikers at Forest !! Can't remember the last time I saw one of our strikers in the team who I was sure was going to score. I hope he can get one or two tonight, love match days.

We created more than enough chances to score on Saturday and I'm 100% sure that we will go for it today.

Have we parked the bus in any of games up until now?

Parked the bus? No

Played negativity? Yes, in most matches

Tonight we have to be positive

What do you mean by playing "negative" and what do you suggest we do in order to play "positive"?

West Brom was positive I agree but Reading just ok but against Birmingham we were negative or dire, whatever you choose to call it, unless I went to a different matches to everyone else.

I wouldn't say we were negative against Birmingham, we just played appallingly until the last 20 minutes.

Personally I think there's a lot of nonsense talked about playing negative, purely because of the formation we play. Nobody could claim we were negative against Bristol City, or West Brom, or Newcastle in the cup, and we were still playing the same formation.

Having Guedioura back in the team will be a massive help because he's a more attacking player than Watson and Colback, so I can see how playing those two could be interpreted as negative. I don't for one second believe that the manager purposefully tells the players to go out and not attack.

west brom and Birmingham were far more physical than us.

I really hope to see a great performance tonight .

No but playing 2 defensive minded midfielders doesn't help matters. Neither colback or Watson should be playing together especially at home.
