Either will do a job for us. 

Dawson's first task will be to dislodge Fox or Figo out the team. Worrall will be motivated too - if he's still here come game 1.

Welcome mate, it's a very good appointment, some people are saying his legs have gone etc but he never really had any pace anyway, just his influence in the dressing room alone will be immense.

I just joined too.  Nice to see grown up conversations. Unlike some forums.  I think Dawson could be the first building block for a promotion push COYR!

 I totally agree sniffer. I remember seeing defoe destroy him for pace for west ham before.

at villa, they said terrys influence was huge..his example. hopefully dawson can do the same.

I agree with the posters above. The likes of Worrell and Figs will benefit so much from having someone like Dawson around. It's a no brainer.

Dawson played 40 games this season. he's obviously in for big shout as captain.
