There's a few things.
Done recruitment to a high standard for Olympiacos. So he'll be intimately aware of the culture of possession based football.
...and being employed by Forest. He'll become attuned to the direct 'muck and nettles' game of the Championship and begin to recruit accordingly. The latter involves a learning curve coming from the former.
Him working for both clubs will give him particular insight to the targeting of shared resources and acquisition of players for Forest's promotion push going forwards.
If they get promoted, working for Olympiacos gives him a keen insight to the cultured standard of player Forest may required when(?) promoted.
He seems aware of what English football is about and what English players bring as well as the sophistication of the foreign player.
It's a win win. Just needs time to play out. It's relatively early days in his role and Forest. Eg. They're about a year (at least?) behind Leeds and WBA (and Fulham.) So Forest being '4th' makes sense. And in that context they're catching up and closing the gap quickly.
