I think so but I don't have it 100% confirmed.

Don’t shoot the messenger but I have been told by 3 reliable folk linked with club who said he went last night.

They like Paul Cook - they spoke to him previously, and Chris Hughton apparantly well liked.

I'm really unsure where we'll go, the signings this summer seem to suggest a move towards Championship experience so I wouldn't be surprised to see someone like Cook, Pearson or Hughton approached but at the same time someone like Marco Silva seems more like a typical Marinakis appointment. I'd say Quique Sanchez Flores has to be considered an option as well. Really intrigued to see what happens.

Agreed, I am sure it won't happen but I can guarantee that EM will ask!

I’d love Valverde, I’d like Heinze after I’ve read on him. I think Paul Cook is more likely and I’d be more than happy with him

Hughton was hated by norwich and brighton fans for boring dull none attacking football, we already have one of them, if we go down that root again we will never learn, should be going all out attack with the squad we have

Not convinced our squad lends itself to all out attack?

Heinze currently leading with Valverde breathing down his neck in second place.

I don't know enough about these manager folk, though some of them sound good.

I don't want Hughton though, he's a proven bore. Not interested in watching dour football, life is too short. Definitely Cook over him.

Valverde now in the lead with Heinz in second place and Cook coming up on the rails in third.

I wouldn't be to upset if either Cook or Hughton were announced as the new manager, but I`d settle for Rafa Benitez
