Taylor for Grabban?

Yep, Taylor is half the player Grabban is, when compared playing in that isolated role as a single striker. Both get few chances a game but Grabban can take and hold the ball much better than Taylor can. So unless/until Krovinovic changes the dynamic and begins to create chances for the strikers, Grabban's the first pick of the two imo.

433. Sow sitting, with Cafu and Krovi as box to box players, at least to start with. Midfield battle will be key.

The Sow holding and Cafu Krov as the box to covers did come to mind...

Bong

It won’t happen so not holding my breath.
But I still believe our strength to be at centre back & both Christie & Ribeiro ( when permitted to play ) better equipped to play as wing backs.
Since CH is a dyed in the wool 4 at the back merchant it won’t happen.

I agree that 3(5) at the back promises a lot with our squad.

Hughton doesn't favour 3 at the back. He said as much.

Ie. Unlikely.

Christie and Bong v Barnie more likely.

i love Bong,
don't get me wrong,
but more specifically,
that cross for the volleeleeleely
but besides that just a mystery,
consigned to anonymity?

I'd go with you but play Lolley, Krov and Sammy

But for something differant play Knockeart as LB / get involved anywhere so could help with overloads, at least Knocky seems passionate and maybe over confident of his ability but prefer that to players who virtually no show

sort of thing Bielsa does with Leeds, can be a disaster but can be an awesome positive game changer

Seeing as though he can’t dribble or beat a man anymore, I’d stick Lolley in at left back.
