They should change profession.

Cats out the bag sniffer,  alot of modern day top level footballers are overpaid, overpampered self serving divas.

I'm not saying my opinion I'm saying how I think a lot of the players will think.

Yes I wasn't having a pop at you mate.

Footballers are brats nowadays and if we have any at our club who don't want to play on a Thursday and Sunday like Wilson suggested then they can do one.

They should try working in A&E seven days a week for 12 hours a day.

Think you're looking at it wrong Sniff. Players these days are athletes who look after themselves and take responsibility for their fitness. They're might be looking at our schedule that maybe involves over 60 games with cups and internationals and thinking that level of output will affect their game and get them injured. Im sure they'd play if they could.

Those quotes from Kelvin Wilson just about sum that bloke up.
He was too busy sat drinking in Three Ponds with his bad back rather than trying to be a professional footballer in his second spell here.

My piles bleed for them.

If they aren't up for it then they can do one.

I don't see them moaning when a World Cup comes around or a Euro.

Successful teams and players play twice a week.

And teams with knackered players play like we have since February.

That is an easy excuse to use for our poor form.

I am not buying that one.

Much more to it than that.

And wasn't it the same for all teams?

Actually all our rivals played much more football than we did.

1. Small squad no problem but no strength in depth beyond starting 11
3. Tactics got found out by other teams and they adapted.
8. Injuries at a bad time and we never recovered. Others lost form.
11. Stopped doing what we were good at with a 4231
12. Poor game management and substitutions from Nuno.

Bit of all of them for me.

I think the Everton defeat was a big one, not the manner per se, but the way it exposed how poor we were at unlocking an organised team. It was very interesting to see Chelsea do us in the same fashion.

That was the biggest thing for me this season, perhaps where Nuno was hoping to get more from Sangare in opening teams up from deep. MGW was great on counter but lacking against low block which is why im surprised city want him.

Personally i don't care what's happened now because it's finished we just need to learn from our mistakes and have a fully functional second team which we need for Europe

I think the big mistake was changing the mindset from One game at a time to talking about it being in our hands.
The Club as a whole will learn from that.

One game at a time mindset throughout the whole season with Players able to impact the game starting or off the bench.

Agree there was a collective loss of focus around the same time the fans started singing about Barcelona.
