Would have been Carvalhal if not MON. Jokanovic's salary demands are nowhere near what a Championship club would pay. And Marinakis 'blown away' by MON enthusiasm/drive for job

Well done on the info', Jock.

MoN is enthusiasm, drive and force of nature.  That's what you need in any successful team.

When he speaks I listen.

So that is now Collymoore and Shilton who have given their backing.

Once again, that's good enough for me.

I would imagine that Marinakis also confided in Mcgovern and Clark and they told him the same thing.

'Get Martin.'

Having thought about the appointment for a couple of hours, this is spot on. He wasn't my first choice, but he certainly wasn't my last either. When he speaks, I listen aswell. If he is a success, the atmosphere will be incredible. Let's get behind him.

Martin O'Neil and Roy Keane, very warm welcome

Unless they have run into severe financial hardship and need some quick cash …. I think there is a lot of positives from the owners here, I think they will have a healthy transfer kitty and content that everything the club put in place will be to help them succeed .. hopefully everything is pretty much coming together … rather rapidly … ie no shock appointments or strange fellas turning up in the dugout

Since 1993 I see MON as quite a choosy customer, he won't commit to something if everything isn't right

If nothing else it will unite the fans and everyone will be buzzing on Saturday now, this is just what we need in the short term and if it works and gets us in the play offs then great.

Wasn’t my first choice by any stretch. But his club management days were terrific.
Hopefully RK will come with him. 2 men that command respect from the players and fans.
As any manger, he will get my backing. Apart from McLeish, he never had it!
Welcome home Martin
