The weather's a concern. Pissing it down all day today and rain on and off forecast for Friday and Saturday.

The last thing we need is a the game to turn into a mud bath battle. We need play our decent football and stay focussed on that.

Well I’m out of the country flying back tomorrow - but that rain looks horrendous. I guess I’m in a minority of one who - if as expected Daws & Sow still out - wouldn’t be gutted to see another postponement.

the supporters club got an allocation of around 40 tickets. most of these are from overseas. so i would feel very sorry for them if it was postponed having spent money on travel and accommodation.

Iv just heard from a close source that it really will be touch and go whether this game goes ahead. Pitch could be worse than the reading game which was called off.

Surely on basis that there will be no rain in 36 hrs proceeding game will mean it is fine.

club have told media there are no worries at present and pitch is currently fine
