If that's the case with Murphy, I really hope that they can shift him out of the door... pronto.

I like Nelson, techically gifted and despite claims that he's not prolific, his goals/minutes ratio isn't bad.
For me, he's a clear upgrade on Vellios/Murphy as the link up striker. If we can pair him with a Marriot, who runs in behind then there's good balance.

Oliveira was not in the Norwich squad on saturday.
He is clearly on the move before the end of the month. I would be happy to have him back, I thought he did well last time around and I don't buy into all this stuff about him being a bad egg etc.

If we are to sell Brereton then I'd take Oliveira as a replacement too. He can definitely finish and if he's cut the over-complication out of his game he'd be a good signing on a loan-to-buy. Cheaper than Brereton too, though presumably higher wages.

Yep,wages would be fairly high for Nelson, in excess of 20k which is the going rate for a good striker at this level. Would be an upgrade on Murphy and provide proper competition for Grabban. We need to strengthen that position IMO

Right now honestly I think Nelson is better than Grabban. Grabban needs to buck his ideas up big time.

hate saying it but grabban looks depressed.

Hopefully Lewis just needs a goal and the whole picture will change.
Pity he fluffed that penalty, he'd have been up and running if he had scored and we probably wouldn't be having this conversation.

I agree.
I'd also say it's more likely he looks unhappy rather than depressed. Depression doesn't really have a 'look.'

Nelson would seem to fit in with how Forest are playing. I can see the logic in terms of competition and the type of player he is. There's the rub, though. Are Forest playing to Grabban's or Brereton's strengths. Lewis made a telling mark about his team mates getting to know how he 'plays' in an interview. He's also eluded to the fact that Forest play very different to Villa and Sunderland... It is an area Forest need to strengthen. SA. Need to increase the competition and quality in that area. Our 'back up' is 'too old' and 'too young', we need a 'goldilocks' striker in the 'just right' age range in his prime. Oli, like Tomlin, is a player I think Karanka can get something out of. SA.

Think he'd be a game changer at this level. If we have a place in the squad for Murphy, we sure have one for Nelson.
