Sam is the best finisher we have had since Van the man, we haven’t had a player who can pinpoint them into the top bins like he does since Pierre, the guy is going to score goals.

He is the exact opposite of Grabban with time he fluffs his lines, if Sam has a little time it’s going in with finesse.

I don't think he did, he just highlighted the differences. Grabban is instinctive in the box but given time further out he is not as effective. Most of Grabbans goals are in the 6 yard box, even commentators have mentioned that his success rate from a little further out is not as prolific. I remember their delight when he scored his first from the edge of the box, they asked him about it in the interview and he openly admitted it. Surridge on the other hand, with time and a bit of space, buries them exactly where he sends them.
Understanding the strengths and weakness of the players is key to managers getting the best out of them.

Jamie redknap made a good point about Arsenal strikers yesterday in that nketiah (sturrige)is more mobile and can run into spaces behind the back 4 and chases defenders more which has improved them going forward as a team creating more options than lacazette (grabban) who comes short and holds things up slows it down and lays it off deeper
Basically that different strikers can make the team play better
