Nottingham Forest - Brighton

I agree with all of that. The difference was Murillo. Morato has all the physical skills but he doesn’t half make some dozy decisions.

Jair might very well be a good shout. Hutchinson is looking electric. I would actually start him against the wooly wolves. I am thinking the second half team and then shutting them (wolves) down in the second.

It’s a must not lose game. Preferably a comfortable win. I think Brighton were much much better for the first 15 but not much difference between the teams after that. The only difference is that they finished and we didn’t.

Not the end of the world. Do hate their manager though.

Chicago: Looking forward.

Brighton are 5th, so on paper, it’s not a bad loss.

But it was a terrible first 20 mins, felt it was the wrong team from the start and although the changes made us more of a threat, I just never felt like we’d score. Just kept seeing the clock tick by feeling we wouldn’t score, despite the second half being all us.

Shocker from Morato. Happened a few times and then it finally cost us.

Feel a draw would have been fair on balance.

Have to put this right on weds.

Thoughts
Wood would have scored today we miss him badly, for all the efforts we never worked their keeper.
As said Morato has a calamity in him every game.

Wood and Murillo play and we draw minimum, more likely win.

I get playing Dominguez against top opposition away from home but I think Dyche is rightly getting criticism for not going with 2 wingers today.

Very hard to change a side that won 3-0 at Anfield the week before.

We just got done today by a pretty good side.

Shit happens. We'll be back.

Genuinely frustrating. First 20 was a shocker. Dyche managed to change it tactically and we were probably on top until the 70th minute, Both goals were simple errors.
Murillo’s scan came back clear so hopefully be back Wednesday

Both Wingers turned the game in our favour but we just made the wrong choice for every cut back.

Very disappointed with that result.

One of those games - could still be playing now and wouldn’t have scored. They took their chances we didn’t. Poor goals to concede and poor defensively - first one Savona has to shift across the- it’s his man. Second morato has two brain farts. Jesus and MGW had two gilt edge chances to score and didn’t take them - and why MgW crossed when through on goal I’ll never know.
Not loads between the sides though to be honest. They did a number there n us and by passed our central areas - overloading the wings and channels and playing long diagonals. Second half they defended really well and were a threat on the break but on another day we draw or even win that.
As long as we shake it off and bounce back Wednesday - not too much damage done. Was closer than the 2-0 suggested… also feel the ref was poor - should have booked a couple of theirs for play acting and bought too many dives.

Brighton always a dangerous side, lot of mobility and try to exploit and overload spaces, but after we adapted to them we were at least their match. We’re missing a few players and I’d say Aina and Murillo would have made the difference, before we mention Wood at the other end.

Disappointing but result if we can beat Wolves and Everton it’s a good week.

Brighton fans I spoke to said that if Wood had been playing, we would have walked it.

A significant number of fans are leaving at 80 minutes. Just don't come back.
