Sniffer Dog has been banging the drum about our new owners ever since they walked through the door (on other forums before this one).

I remember him saying things like 'they are the real deal' 'ruthless winners' 'won't tolerate failure' 'Forest takes priority over Olympiakos'  'these guys will take us back to the promise land' etc etc.

Looks as though he was spot on.

Think the new owners have been brilliant so far and proud of my club again, however it’s a hell of a journey from intensive care to promotion.

However a couple of signings capable of getting 30 goals plus and will start to dream myself.

all has gone on quiet on marney. wonder will he try leadbitter, another leader to help the younger lads.

I can’t believe that we haven’t got 2 or 3 signings all but done ( in addition to the Portuguese kids ) just waiting to be announced.

It sure Marney is still on the radar.

We have defo spoke to Leadbitter and have spoken to Newcastle re Colback.

Wonder if Ashley will try and try to do a sweetener with Colback for reduction in the Lascelles sell on clause

colback is rumoured to be on 40k per week at Newcastle. its not going to be easy

It would require Newcastle to pay up his contract, and then come to us at the top end of our wage scale (prob 20k ish).
