Great days. Until about 88 I used to go in about 1.30 to get a crate to stand on in front of a barrier. Then I moved further back to be in amongst it, but was able to get served so piled in about 2.30...then I later discovered if you stood on Bridgford ona warm dry day you could stay in the pub until 2.58 and still get your spot. Happy days indeed. Youngsters today will never understand the level of camaraderie generated on the terraces.
That is so true about the camaraderie on the terraces Zico. I've been pulled out of scraps and hauled over the Trent End wall on a couple of occasions. The crowd used to open up to let you in, then close ranks around you so the coppers couldnt find you (so Ive been told anyway  )

First leg was even better. Stopped the bus just outside Leeds to watch highlights on TV - very understanding licensee ( who made a few quid that night ).

It was TPL. I was just a kid and I went with my dad in the car and we sat in the seats at the side of where the Forest fans were standing. I am desperate for some footage of this night but I can't find any.

Ive just realised the same GreenMan. Typical bloody Forest, they couldnt have left us with a good memory to last the next year and a half could they? Whatever happens between now and then I can’t wait for August and us all to be back.
