Athletic now reporting Ross Wilson. We’re going to get gerrard aren’t we? Marinakis is after all a Liverpool fan!
Gerrard isn't much of a coach but he did go out and get a high level of coaching staff by Scottish standards as the manager of rangers.
But is a real step down if he was to replace Coops

Think Wilson is more of a fan of Ralph, they had a great understanding at saints
Michael Beale at end of season? Wrong thread i know but it's such a random appointment
****** Edit. I've got a horrible feeling Gerrard is gonna land on our doorstep

Yeh it seems like this is the first part of the jigsaw.
No way does EM bring in a new Sporting Director without first asking him who he would have on his list to replace Cooper.

Rangers fans are a massively entitled bunch that spit their dummies out every time they lose to Celtic or don’t win the league title. Nevertheless they really don't seem fond of Wilson.
He seemed to be hit and miss with Southampton, huge hit with signing Van Dyke followed by quite a lot of misses thereafter. But as has been suggested this does seem to be all pointing in the direction of Hasenhuttl eventually.

Surely Wilson only negotiates for the player's that the coach wants and he doesn't pick and choose the players. Like Giraldi did in January (Negotiated on Cooper's behalf).
Panic on the streets of London
