I think we are forgetting we are only in phase 2 of our premier league development. Phase 1 survive at all costs Phase 2 become solid and develop a style. Phase 3 development of style and control.

Still lots to do but we are getting there. Next season will be our biggest yet as we won't be taken lightly and we will need to step it up.

Great post, and 100% agree.
We have to remember where we have been for 25 yrs.
We have gone from zero to 3rd in the league in 3 yrs.
The improvement has been incredible.

We are on an upward trajectory I’m sure 

Greater control will come with time in the EPL and continued growth with recruitment

It's basic though I don't think it's a case of developing.

If you keep hoofing it into no man's land then the opposition will keep coming back at us. We saw it in the first half at Newcastle and we saw it again yesterday.

I agree with you, it's been our weakness the whole time since we've been back in the PL. Sometimes just a tiny bit too direct.

Yes of course we all agree with this and pretty certaIn even the most optimistic of us could never have imagined the season we are having.

The thing is, its just such a great unexpected opportunity we are having I don’t want us to blow it now and regret what might have happened. Thats why some of are saying could do better in some situations. Its not a criticism of any Individual because practically everyone from staff to players is over performing right now.
