The Next 6 Games

Looking at the next 6 games , before another break, I think that if we get less than 12 points it will be squezzy bum for AK....failing us to at least improve on what we did so far and climb the table by at least 3 or 4 places ...the Boro game might have a big significance in AK's future...what are your thoughts...?

Agreed. Dont think the current level of performances will be tolerated by Marinakis for much longer after all Karanka's transfer wishes have been granted and 6 games should be enough for AK to gel this squad together or at least it can no longer be used as an excuse. Im not so hung up on the amount of points we tally up but would like to see some consistancy in our performances. If that improves then the points will look after themselves.

I should imagine AK is already feeling the pressure, I don't think he even has six games to get it sorted . I really hope it comes together and we make decent headway in the coming games. Still feel he has signed a lot of meh players, what we are missing is the one player who would be a game changer. A consistent Geddy on a good day, or for those of us who remember Stan someone of that ilk. I really think it takes an outstanding player like that to get us out if this division and we just haven't got one. Sorry for the negativity feeling a little deflated at the moment hope I'm proved wrong and we fly up the table in the coming weeks

All this talk of him going is just a carry on from Fawaz era antics...………..its not going to happen. The owner should know the only way to sort out the squad and end up with a squad of players who give their all and can get promotion is to stick with AK and let him do this over a number of transfer windows.

So I don't see him going anywhere, provided their is gradual improvement and it keeps going.

I think the transfsr windows he got ( and even outside) are enough now. This is his squad, he cannot keep replacing players that he signed...hope no one expects that in January we go out nd sign another half a dozen...that would be a sign if cluelessnes...we have a dozen central midfielders to play 3 or 4 ... if they r the right ones ir not its up to the manager now...they r all his signings...decence pretty much the same in goal also...upfront he brought who he wanted nd was available...so i dont know how many more windows does he need nd how many more players r we going to have on the psy off list in 6 months time...

6 games is current form. The first 6 games were meh so the next 6 games need to bring in more points. 2 points per game should be enough .

Personally felt Fawaz was only wrong to pull the trigger on SOD and dougie. The others were sacked at the right time and probably would’ve gone earlier under some other chairmen. Not to defend Fawaz by the way obviously he wasn’t a terrible owner. I just feel the trigger happy sackings thing is a bit of a myth. His appointments on the other hand...

I hope AK is here for the season because that would mean that we are picking up points and sitting near the top of the table.

However, as much as it pains me to say it, it's a results business and if results are poor over the next 6 games and we are towards the bottom end of the table then he will be gone sadly.

Sincerely hope he’s given the season - but if he is to go quickly then the 2 up & coming international breaks would offer obvious timing.

Crunch time has arrived imo. 6 games with similar results as the last 6 and he's gone unfortunately. You have to factor in the modest results from last season too.

I would stick with him myself if the worst happens but after the way Warbs was jettisoned I have no reason to think the same wont happen.

Yes I think the international breaks will be the key moments if he is to go. I would like him to be given more time but if results don't pick up he will be gone.
