ok i only watched 3 minutes but pre match interview was really totally void of belief, yes we have played very well for long periods in games but so have other teams who have been relegated
No.
Christ he had 40 games with a squad full of shit signed by a previous manager.
You can see the impact his signings had in January without those players we would be where she’d wed are now.
CH has the summer to bring in players who will improve us going forwards. This is where we will see what he is going to offer us as a coach. He added the quality he could in January, a difficult transfer window.
Or, as you seem so content to keep switching managers, we could just start all over agin with a new man. The problem with this is it would take most of pre season for them to get to know the squad, the personality of the players and decide who they want to bring in.
CH knows the squad and knows what it takes to get out of the division. We need the fans and the owner to trust CH over the summer to make the right decisions. CH has done an excellent job considering what he is working with. In fact, if we had a goal scorer we would have been top half easily possibly pushing top 6. Just look at the number of chances created that we haven’t taken.CH can’t be blamed for that. He can take full credit for us having one of the best defences in the league though. Combine that with a summer of signing good attacking player and balancing out this squad and we will be challenging to the top end.
If people like you get there way though we may as well just accept that the championship is where we will be spending the rest of existence... maybe with the odd visit to league 1.

Positives:
- This season is over.
- First half played quality incisive football, a joy to watch the build up.
- A great goal.
- Young Soh had a run out.
Negatives:
- Failed to put game to bed
- Strange officiating.
- Taylor's "goal" should gave stood.
- Their 1st goal was clear handball
- The 2nd goal was flagged offside in build up.
- Soh needs a loan spell, definitely not ready yet.
- 4 on 1 and we didn't score.
- Krovinivic-despite technically getting an assist- is such a good player, but with a serious lack of end product. Radio Nottingham commentary is not complete with out "Krovinivic...hits one over the bar".
- The whole season could have been rescued but Cardiff ruined it in the 89th minute.
At least we can now reset with Chris Hughton and his unbelievable Championship record over full seasons.
The1st half football is hopefully a taste of what's to come - with a touch more end product -under CH as it was impressive.

So fancy a bet then chris “unbelievable in championship” Hughton will take us up next year then?

Not really sure, he just looked round ignored the flag and carried on. MBye Soh should have done more from the cross, but plenty of time passed between flag and the goal to defend properly. Added to handball and Taylor's chalked off, they would have drawn huge anger on a normal game.

RN were going ballistic about the offside flag before their second goal, why was the ref ignoring it, what would happen if - oops yes, if they scored after the lino eventually put his flag down?
And the first goal is blatantly knocked in by a deliberate elbow, so no goal and a yellow card. Two decisions that went against us when we were cruising (but hadn't got enough goals to reflect our dominance).

After 40 odd years of watching my club defying the odds through either hitting pinnacles unheard of before or since (by anyone) or plunging to the depths of despair despite generous investment, I know better than to gamble for or against Forest, even if it is to help with your weird, dark obsession with wanting your doom mongering to be shouted from the roof tops.
That record of Chris Hughtons is unbelievable whether you like it (which you should) or not (which is the perception you give).
Just to reiterate, Chris Hughton has never finished lower than 4th given a full Championship season. Newcastle, Brighton, Norwich and Birmingham can testify to this.
Do I honestly think we will finish top 4? Not really, because the job at our club is massive but that's never been my point. I will continue to live in hope and support whatever team (or dross) turns out in the garibaldi. I will continue to buy my season ticket and follow them around the Country in the hope this is our season and because for those of us into football pre sky, following our club is about much more than just the 90 minutes of the game. I am far from a happy clapper and will make my point very vociferously at a game if I believe it is warranted-though not this year obviously.
I digress, the point is, should a man with that record and that experience not be able to get us challenging then we are in long term trouble.
On another front, have you ever seen a poor bookie?

You don't win if you have what turned out to be a good goal chalked off, concede a handball goal and then a dubious 2nd with an offside flag raised. Thems the breaks.
If you can not see that we played attacking incisive football in the 1st half (YES a game is 2 halves) and really shouldn't have conceded 2nd half but for some bizarre officiating then your glass is clearly always half empty. This was a far cry from the early season dross.

Spot on.
(Just watched the EPL/Quest highlights. I can't believe the goals stood. 'Only Forest.' The Curse continues.). That team goal for the Garner wonder strike was as good a goal as we've had all season. What a beauty.)
